Facebook quit after latest update

I have a Note 4 rooted on 4.4.4

Facebook has always worked just fine on it but I was being barraged with the update notices...
I never let apps auto update, and this is the reason why.

Now it won't load up and run. All i get is the blue menu outlines and the middle of the screen is just pasty white.

Uninstalled it, and downloaded again, to no avail.

anyone else having a problem with the latest FB update?
this all started 12/23 when I accepted the request to update it....

if i don't get it resolved, I am going to need to find the previous version and reinstall that.
anyone got a link to the version that is back 2 or 3 updates?

Can't help you with this, but since you're rooted you should install Titanium Backup which allows you to back up and restore older versions of apps (among the many other things it does).
I always back up the current versions of apps before I update them, for this very reason.

yeah, thought of that after I posted...
I have a full image backup of the phone, and the apps also... will have to go looking to see if I can learn how to pull out just the one app for FB.

If you restore that image, you can then install TB and back up the old version.
You can change the backup storage location for TB to your external SD card so it won't be affected if you wipe the phone or it crashes.

finally got it going.

deleted the app, reinstalled it again from "OFF AIR" ignored the WiFi...
then I went into Settings/App Mgr and cleared all of the cache settings...

then I started FB again and it asked once again for the password...
this time though, instead of asking it to save "one click", I used "Not Now" and it is working just fine...

to hell with one click, it locks the app up big time.
