Facebook sync broken with android 2.3.3?

Since upgrading to android 2.3.3 on my nexus s. My facebook application stopped showing the contacts photos, so i removed the account and re-added it. It wont show in the Manage Accounts section now. Also i don't get the contact icon for the picture in the facebook application.

Any Ideas?

They did this on purpose...read an article about it earlier....such a shame

Just found it looks like a custom rom is due to be installed!

So is there any fix for this disabling of the facebook sync?

Is it expected to remain this way or will Google realize it's a huge disadvantage for them?

I use this on my PC, syncs them with my google contacts just fine. Google Contact Sync | Heart of Angel
