Facebook wont notify

I get no notifications on my eris from facebook i have check all the setting that i know of is there something im missing?
 
The notification function of FB is lacking. There are not notifications for wall posts & comments. You're better off setting up email notifications through your Gmail account then open the app.

Hopefully future updates will fix this problem.
 
the only FB notifications i get are from events for some reason...


i just open shit from email instead
