Facial Recognition

Everytime I restart my phone, the facial recognition stops working. And when I go to my SmartLock features, nothing pops up. Anyone else encounter this problem? And what the solution was?

Try doing a factory reset of the phone.
Keep in mind that you will lose everything so doa backup or save any photos, documents first

I'd also make sure you are current with updates. While facial recognition seems to be continuing trend, it still seems to be rather buggy.

Thank you both! Got it working... Had to disable and re-enable trust agents in: settings>security>trust agents and then restarting phone. Seems to be a bug in the Google software. Thanks again!

It would seem that this type of issue is still going on. Last security patch didnt fix either. Surprised that if this is a google problem existing across many phones and carriers its not fixed yet. May be a little more too this!

I do not use a screen lock. I have not played with the facial recognition in a long time. I tried fingerprint but it does not play well with Tasker. If Tasker invoked the lock it always required me to use the backup scheme to unlock when set to fingerprint.
