Hi, I have a Sheffield 7 inch tablet model PL7117.
It is locked out with a "too many pattern attempts"
I cant enter my account details because wifi is not enabled.
And the device does not have usb enabled either..
I was wanting to do a factory reset on this device but no matter what combination of buttons i press I am unable to get to the recovery section during reboot.
Does any one here have any idea what the key combinations are to access recovery on this device.
Thanks in advance.

I would suggest to just slow down and try Volume Up & Down and the power button to try and boot into stock recovery, it is possible on all android devices.

From there you can factory reset the device.

Hi, thanks for your advice, however I have literally spent hours trying to get to a factory reset screen on this tablet but no combination seems to work.
(I have tried the volume up and power, also volume up+down plus power, varying times held and released etc etc) I have other android devices and I can boot to the maintenance screen with no problems. I was hoping someone knows of the exact key combination.
This is a Chinese tablet if that makes any difference.
Cheers.

Hi there I have the exact same problem I can get into the factory reset settings however I cannot scroll down to select anything nor can I read what it says as it's Chinese!!

Looks like the Sheffield p7117 has a small pinhole for resetting, on the back of the tablet, near the card slot that says "TF CARD". If I find a manual page on the internet for this model, I'll link it here.

Found with the one I have, it went into FACTORY MODE with combo of VOLUME DOWN and POWER button.
