Hello there!

I bought the Alcatel One Touch Schribe HD about 6 months ago and now it shows some problems. I admit i am a gaming person so my phone is full of applications.
The problem started when my camera stopped respinding and since then when i open any camera application such as My Photos, Viber, Skype etc the picture is black to grey and the app crashes.
I have deleted all related apps but nothing happens.
The same problem is with my flishlight. When my camera (forgot to mension neither the fron nor the back camera works). I have to restart my cellphone at least 2 times in case everything works for about 50 minutes, and then they crash again.
After that everything became slower, start up takes too long apps lag and crash or typing becomes too slow that then i type a letter it appears after 4-5 seconds.
I was thinking about doing factory reset but i don;t know if it is the right way to return it in it's condition when i bought it.
Any help would be appreciated and if u have any better advise please let me now!

Thanks

If you're not rooted, a factory reset certainly could solve your problem if you have installed a buggy or conflicting app. What a factory reset should do is wipe all the user data from the system partition, but not user storage (photos, music, etc.). You'll lose things like text messages, emails and settings, but you can back them up before you reset. It would probably be a good idea to back them up anyway since a phone behaving as you describe could indicate it might be about to die on you.

I've outlined the process for backing up you phone before a reset here. Let me know if you need help.
