Help factory reset problems

This is an odd problem I'm not sure I've seen anyone else have.
So I rooted my phone and of course almost immediately un-installed something I shouldn't have. I can open up my contacts but if I select one, contacts closes itself. I've done a soft and hard factory reset, but that's obviously not going to restore a lot of the stuff that was on there to begin with. I would assume I'd need to get the original factory settings from somewhere outside the phone, but I don't know where.

Well after you rooted did you use the bootstrap app? If you didnt you need to. Also did you make a nandroid? If you didnt you need to locate the system app manually. Research is key especially you are going into an unkown area. You are dealing with the /system folder. The term you was looking for was force close. Are you on stock or a custom. We needs infos man!
