Factory reset/ wiping data

Hi

I recently did a factory reset on my Samsung galaxy ace as I'm giving it to a family member. The phone only had about 2 pics and a video on it and I also wanted these wiped. After I did the reset I couldn't see the pics/video anywhere in the phones gallery or any of the files so is it safe to assume these have been deleted? Or is there a chance they're still lurking somewhere in the phone? I don't think they were saved to the sd card but as I hardly used the phone I can't be sure! I also think a prompt about wiping the sd card possibly came up while I was doing the reset. Help!

The phone is a Samsung galaxy ace GT-S5839i

Since a reset doesn’t touch your SD card, you might run something like Full Wipe as well.
