I was just wondering if i can perform a factory reset on my phone if i was rooted before (unrooted now) and i removed some system applications. I just want to get them back so i was thinking of factory reset, but i dont want to mess up my phone. Can i do the reset now that im unrooted or will the missing system apps cause problems?

You could try a factory reset, but you have to remember that this isn't like doing a system restore in Windows. If you deleted those programs, they're gone off the phone. It's not like the phone's going to reconstruct them from memory or something.

You could always reflash it with the 2.2 rom. At least I think you can?
