I thought I had submitted this post but I cant find it. I am giving my Samsung galaxy ace to a friend it had a password. Stupidly I thought restoring to factory settings would remove it. Now I have no icons on desktop no desktop either how do I get this back. Thanks.
Restoring to factory settings would remove the lockscreen password. Also it will wipe out all user data, except for the sd card data.
Now exactly what are you getting on the screen?
