I'll be honest, it's been months since I did this so I don't remember exactly what happened... I'm hoping with what information I have, I'll be able to recover my device still
I tried to root my device. I remember that when I tried installing the new rooted ROM, I figured out too late that it was for a different version of my phone. I have the Sprint Galaxy S II and the ROM was for Verizon's Galaxy S II.
At this point, if you plug the device into anything - charger or computer or anything, it just comes up with "Firmware Upgrade encountered an issue, Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again"
Kies cannot see the device. There is nothing listed in the recovery menu. Is there anything at all I can do, or is my device destined to remain a useless brick?
