I've not seen that in person but I have seen multiple videos with successful bead seating. I think I'll pass. I'm an old school rope tied around the center of the tire with a bar to tighten the rope until the beads are against the wheel sort of guy.
Yeah, ether and Bic lighter, thwomp, and bead set. Though the problem was it took a half dozen tries, and the, um, practitioner nearly lost his eyebrows.

Years ago my fishing buddy made a spud gun. It was made out of pvc and had a section that he sprayed an aerosol into and then igniting it with a piezo igniter that launched a potato that was crammed into the end. It would launch the potato a good thirty yards. It sounded cool too. :)

I did the rope trick the last time I set the beads on my old truck.
My tiller has a tire that went flat and lost the bead seal across the winter. The tire is a small bar tread so it wasn't easy to fix. One time fighting it was lesson learned and I pulled the wheels off after each use from then on. I've used the rope trick on a mower tire or two through the years. It works.. not fun but it works.

I use a ratchet tie down strap. Same concept.

Transactions settled by cash nowadays are a fraction of previous years and no doubt will be even less in the future. It seems Jack In The Box is counting on mostly digital currency transactions if they are willing to always round up to a customers advantage when giving back change.
