I actually started playing this yesterday. highly addicting indeed. I just remembered the Pixel tower game where you construct business establishments and apartment per floor. But this is something, a real Fallout shelter. lol
I was mega excited for this, but I've downloaded and not really got in to it yet.

Not at all. There's no timers or caps or anything like that. The IAP's just offer extra little bonuses to get you going. No biggie.
What is a biggie is the glaring lack of any sort of cloud-based backup - and the application data is apparently stored in a non-standard location, so most backup utilities (or, at least, the Huawei Backup utility on my phone) aren't able to back up your game data. That was a painful lesson when I had to reset my phone after building up my vault population to ~80.
That's annoying. :/

You could perhaps use something like Tasker to increase the screen timeout period while Fallout is in the foreground. *shrug*
Or you could do like I do and just check in periodically to see how things are going. I rarely leave the app open and idle for more than a minute.

I'm playing while working, and I have too many dead hours so i'm on all the time...
Maybe i'll just configure the screen on/off configurations.
