I'm using " My Tracks " its free and it lets you see by GPS where you are using google, You can then just before you start running hit record track, then hit stop record when you finish and it saves all the data about your run like
1. A Map of where you ran to and from
2. Distance covered in km, total time, moving time, elevation, min eleveation, min grade, latitude, max speed you ran at, average speed, average moving speed, elevation gain, max elevation in the run, max grade, longitude
It really is a great way to keep track of your runs and saves them so you can view them next time you run
