fast charge using USB plug?

anyone know if it's possible to get a USB cord that plugs into a USB port to fast charge? ( as opposed to the wall) and what type of cord we need to get to do this? thanks

If you mean USB plug from a computer, forget it.

Computer's USB ports usually provide no more than 0.5A or 500mA, it's barely enough for regular charging, some phones won't even charge.

aw man alright thanks for the reply I was just being wishful I guess lol

Indeed. Though some battery packs will do fast changing, so if you regularly need a top-up having one of those rather than relying on a laptop port might help.

Yes most of battery packs have 2.1A output port so fast charging could work, but having a battery pack literally eliminates the need for fast charging as well.

thanks, please excuse my "noobness" but does this mean if I get a battery pack that has 2.1a output I can get the fast charge regardless of which cable im using? does the cable play a factor in the speed?
