Help Fastboot?

Under the power settings you click check or uncheck fast boot? Does anyone know the pros and cons of this setting? Or at least what it does? It seems like everything runs smoother with it checked but then again, I could be crazy lol

It just starts up ur phone faster this is a pro.
The con is that some apps might break/mess up because of it starting so fast, and it also drains battery faster

And I took fast boot off because I like to look at my boot animation
