Is there any way to assign my fave 5 their own personal ring tones? do i have to download an app and if so, which one?

You should be able to do it by opening up the MyFaves app and selecting a contact and hitting the menu button to edit them. If you're looking to use MP3's as ringtones, try out Rings Extended in the market.
