Favorite contacts widget on home screen

On my home screen, I have a second page that is a widget with my Favorite contacts.
Its got a round photo of each and their name underneath. Unfortunately this widget only allows about 9 characters for each name. Since it lists the first and last names, the balance of each name just fades off. It looks really odd. Obviously if they are in my favorites I know their names, but I don't like the way it looks and cannot seem to find a way to word wrap the name. This is Android, so it must be possible. Can anyone help?

I added a contact widget with the stock contact icon widget. The whole email address appeared under the icon.

Are you using the stock widget our third party app to do it?

I am using the stock 3x3 favorite contact widget. Each favorite photo is a circle and underneath each photo is their name. However, the names do not word wrap, so only the first 9 characters show.

I see....they don't give a second row with the 3x3 widget.
What about doing individual 1x1 widget? That's the one I tried.
