What are some of your favorite sites for wallpaper?

-- I want static wallpaper; "live" is too flashy and eats battery; largely unnecessary IMO.
-- I want to avoid registering somewhere else, if I can
-- I'd like a variety of scenes to look at

Anyone?

Also, what is the size of the LG Optimus V screen, so I can put my own wallpapers on there if I want?

Speaking of which, where on my device would I put them?
 
I would like to know this as well. Also to add to OP I would like to ask where could I find free downloadable themes?

Zedge.net has some good wallpapers and you don't have to register if you don't want - makes it easier if you select your phone, though. The wallpaper size needed is 640w X 480h. FastStone Photo Resizer is a nice program to use on your PC to convert and/or rename your photos. FastStone also has a nice photo viewer/editor program for the PC and they are free.

You can put the wallpapers on your SD card - easy place is to put them in a folder called Wallpaper.
 
+1 for FastStone image editor. It's how I resize, crop, and in a lot of cases change the colors of, all my wallpapers. Deviant Art is always good place to look for walls, but this is my favorite site ATM given the minimalist phase I'm going through: Browse — Simple Desktops

an app in the market, HD Wallpapers - by srsdev, is awesome... it's free and has a great selection... also, on the web, 4walled.org is good too...
