FB - People you may know...

Search wouldn't work for me (just hung on the "searching screen"), so hopefully this wasn't too recently asked: Is there a way to turn off the "people you may know" in Facebook for Android? I'm on a Dinc2 2.3.4 and the latest install of FB for Android (or so the Market tells me). The unhelpful offering of people I may know takes up a good bit of space... If I want to know someone on FB, I'll add them myself... so would love to remove this bit of help. Thanks!

I don't see "Poeple you may Know" in the app either. Are you talking about accessing facebook through the browser?

It is on m.facebook and I did see it on the app once or twice before I stopped using it. I didn't/don't see a way to disable it, it is annoying on mobile (app or m.fb) though!

I see this on the app every once in a while. Not sure if you can get rid of it all together; would be surprised if you could.

I use "facebook for android"... and well, I guess it's just one more reason to switch to G+. Opening fb and having over half the screen be the "facebook header" and then three possible friends instead of new items in my newsfeed... is stupid.

Your experience is very different than mine. The facebook app that I have doesn't show any "possible friends". It only shows news feeds. And facebook headers doesn't take up half the screen either.

With that said, I don't really like the facebook app because it's not very reliable. I get quite a few connection errors or pictures won't show up.
