FBReader shows my .epub files in the wrong order

I have 13 books, which are numbered from 1 to 13. Problem is, it shows up like this in FBReader:

10 11 12 13 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

And I want them to be like this:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13
 
That is correct alpha sorting.
Rename them 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13
 
Can't I just configure the app itself?

EDIT: I renamed the files, but now it shows up like this:

09 08 07 06 05 04 03 02 01 13 12 11 10

What did I do wrong now?

1) No need for thread bumps - folks will either know the answer and come in here to provide it, or they won't. Repeatedly "bumping" the thread to the top won't make people suddenly know how to help. ;)

2) It kind of sounds like the app may be sorting your books by last-modified date - assuming that the current listing reflects the order in which you renamed the files. If there isn't any obvious sort option within the application's configuration page, your best bet may be to contact the developer for help: contact@fbreader.org. They could at least let you know what sort order the application uses by default so you could adapt your collection to fit better. :thumbsupdroid:
