On Feb 20th about 7pm a new Android Security update appeared on my phone. And as before there is no update number or info about what the update fixes.
After deflecting it several times, I finally accepted it. In about 15 minutes, the update completed.
I just noticed the About Phone, Android info says security update is now Feb 1st 2018
Surprisingly, this seems to have FIXED a troublesome system lag that I've noticed for some time.
Most notably, my Waze app is now glass smooth scrolling.
And... My Bluetooth headphones that for months had lots of stuttering interruptions are now playing perfectly.
This update has greatly improved by phone in general.
I hope you all have a similar experience.
