It's not a "Leak". It looks like the exact same one that has been floating around here for a week. The app name and launcher name are even the same. This is a port from the Nokia.

No, it has nothing to do with this thread. It just pisses me off when websites like that one falsely represent something. It just so happens that this was a port by one of our members... and they are passing it off as a "leak".


I just posted a comment over there. Ill sleep better now. Lol. If I was on my pc and not my droid, id have posted a link to the original thread as well.

I am seriously confused why they would report that as a leaked copy. Even without knowing the source, you would think it would raise a flag or two if they try installing it. The package name isn't Mozilla, fennec, or firefox (or any other variation). Once you launch the app, you then have to click on a button that says "Launch" to launch the browser. It just makes zero sense to me. The only conclusion I can draw is that they are one of those hatchet-job websites that posts any and all rumors they get. I bet if I go through their archive (if they even have one) I can pull up an "official launch date" for 2.1 from back in December, too.
