Since early this year, we've seen the Motorola DROID Fighter pop up in a variety of places under the names Motorola Blade and Verizon Motorola DROID Fighter. From Picasa leaks which suggest the name maybe DROID RAZR HD, to pictures which show it shares similar design cues as the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, it is a powerhouse to say the least. Carrying on from the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, it supposedly throws in a larger HD display (around 4.7-inches). It also comes preloaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and with it, eliminates the bottom row capacitive buttons so it may instead rely completely on the ICS on-screen keys.
Adding to that, the folks over at Pocket-Lint point out that the rumors "state its aperture as f2.4 this puts the Droid RAZR HD alongside that of the iPhone 4S, while the handset is also thought to be able to capture 13-megapixel snaps."
So what we have here is an Android smartphone that is very similar to what the Samsung Galaxy S3 is rumored to be on paper but with a couple of advantages: higher megapixel camera (13MP vs 12MP), no physical buttons on the front (Samsung Galaxy S3 is rumored to include an elongated physical home button), and of course that juicy 3,300mAh battery found in the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX (the Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to have a battery below 3,000mAh).
Now before you think that the quad-core Exynos processor should blow away anything else on the market, rumors from earlier this week point to the next Motorola smartphones coming equipped with the new generation Snapdragon S4 chipsets. Now these are the same chipsets which are found to be more powerful than the quad-core Tegra 3. So while we can't confirm if it can be on par with the Exynos processor, it shouldn't be underestimated just yet.
