File display

Hi i use my Tab 2 for work and i would like to place certain files onto my main screen for easy access. Is this possible as i cant seem to carry it out. I have to go into MY FILES to access them all the time.

This is actually possible with the correct 3rd party file manager installed.

I use Astro File Manager. All you have to do is long press on your homescreen, go to Apps and Widgets, then go to widgets tab, in there go to Astro File Manager, long press it and place it as if you're placing a shortcut, it will then open up Astro and allow you to place either a file or a folder on the homescreen.
