Some of my music files have gone into the wrong directory and are therefore not easy to find when I want to hear them. When I connect my phone with USB to the computer I would really like to see the phone as a drive on explorer, but it does not appear at all.
Is there a way to see the phone's files and move files within explorer on my PC?

Depending upon your device, and your operating system, you'll need some sort of device driver to allow communication between the phone and your computer.

In Windows, for example, I had to install Motorola USB drivers in order to be able to see the files on my SDCard in my Motorola DROID - but there is also the fact that after making the connection I had to mount the SDCard for sharing with the computer.

You could just remove the SD card from your phone and plug it in directly to your computer. Just use a micro-sd to sd adapter and plug it into your PCs regular SD card slot. Now you can access the files in it as if they were a native windows folder, and can clean or organize your files any way you want.

I backed up my mms, contacts, texts to my sd card on the evo 4g. I emailed the file, and opened it on my computer. It is a .mbp file. Now I want to put this info on my new evo 3d, but I dont know how. Someone please help me, I have time sensitive info on the card..

Whatever program you used to back them up is what you'll need to use to restore them.

That sounds like it is a MybackupPro file (hence the .mbp extension) so you'll need to install MBP on your new phone, copy the .mbp file to your new SDCard, and then use MBP to restore the info from that file when the SDCard is in your phone.
