Ok, here's one I haven't seen addressed - If I'm wrong, I'm sorry, just point me to the right thread - Thank You.
Although my Settings -> Storage & USB -> Internal Memory lists 16Gb of storage the File Manager (and all File Manager apps I have tried installing) keep saying I've only got 10.58Gb of Internal Storage. This is not what is listed as used, this is listed as available. In case it matters, the Settings version says I've used 13.5Gb, the File Manager versions all say 8.12Gb used space (with 2.46Gb available). So the storage available is equal, and I'm not hurting for more storage space - just irked.
I know the difference between raw storage and formatted storage, but at least *I* have never seen such a large discrepancy at so low a storage level. Is there some other explanation (or error) that I'm missing here? Or is it REALLY just the formatting difference, and I'm just that far out of touch .
