Filemate Identity Tablet

I purchased this tablet for Christmas. Been trying to take pictures, but it says to insert an SD card before using the camera. I have inserted an SD card, but it's not reading it. Also, the little mini disk that comes with it will not come up on my laptop. Any suggestions?????
