Files Go on a tablet

I have the files go on my phone and had the beta version on my tablet (Samsung Tab S2 9.7) and it worked great. Now that the regular release is out. The Files Go app is not showing up in the Play Store on my tablet. If I do a Google search for it and then click the link it says it's not compatible with my device (the tablet). Is this a settings issue or a Google issue?

Rhanks

Well if it says that its not compatible then you pretty much can't do anything about it until Google supports your device. What variant and os is your tab s2?

Well, you can always download an app of the app externally. But say, that's a file manager, right? You could simply use File ES Manager Pro which goes on sale sometimes for very cheap.

ES went downhill when they were bought. Ads, bloated and sends data to chinese server. Never recommend them to anyone.

Yep if the play store says it's incompatible with your device, you'd have no other option but to download the app from a different site.
You'd also have to go into your security settings and change install from untrusted.

Tried it in store today and the tablet runs on Android 6.0. It had the usual Samsung icons and apps, I'd say. Great tablet overall.

Thanks for the replies.
Not too sure of the variant, how couldni check? It is running Android 7.0

The reason I liked the Files Go app is that it will connect with my phone and makes it super easy to send files back and forth between the 2. I can always use Bluetooth.

7.0? Even better then! I'm going with S2 in March though I'd prefer SEE but no way am I spending a ridiculous amount on a tablet, regardless of how good it is.

Maybe I'm just too old, but I couldn't figure out Files Go. Made no sense, at all, to me.
Been using Es3 for years. Using an old version (before the CM buyout).
I like the UI but they've lost the ability to access Dropbox, so I've been using Astro.
