Filtering Play Music

Does anyone know how I can have Play Music ignore all my random voice recordings?

Whenever I send recordings through BBM or create a voice reminder or anything to do with recording a voice, it gets saved on the internal SD card just out in the open and google Play Music seems to always pick that crap up when I shuffle music.

Media scanner picks it up as a sound file, and that's the list that Play Music uses. You can put all the recordings you don't wwant played into one folder and add a file named .nomedia (in Windows terms, it's a file with no name, but a file type of nomedia) to the folder. Media Scan will ignore that folder.

Otherwise, no. A voice file and a music file are the same to Android - sound files. If you don't have a specific play list, music apps play everything that Media Scan picks up.
