Finally Android and OS X get along...

So I have been looking for a solution to the syncing since I got my phone. I tried everything out there that I could with a demo. If you use Address Book and iCal, you can sync those directly to google and have them sent to your phone, no problem. The issue is with iTunes. Up until now I have been struggling to find something that works, but I found this nice little app called SyncMate by Eltima Software. This is easiest sync app to use. Here's what you can do:

Setup some playlists that you want to sync to your phone with iTunes. Once you have them setup, open SyncMate and add them to the sync list. Once added you can hit AutoSync, and any changes you make to those playlists will be sent to your phone in the background. This is by far the best sync option I have seen for the Mac platform so far. It's the closest to iPhone integration as you're going to get. After finding this I am extremely happy with my phone.

I hope this helped out a few people that were in the same situation as me...

If google released a media syncing software it would put another nail in iphons coffin.. let's hope eh?

Haven't tried SyncMate,I use DoubleTwist and its works great also.

I use iTunes, I don't want another media app on my computer. SyncMate will just sync everything I have already, and well. I won't jump to another app for media unless it REALLY blows iTunes away, and that, to me, would be a VERY hard thing to do. I use it for everything. All my video, music, podcasts, everything is in smart playlists, playlists, and organized so well. It would take a lot to get me to switch.

Why? iTunes is crap.... WinAmp is much better... You can sync ANYTHING with winamp.. including iPod

iTunes is crappy for Windows. In OS X it runs without much issue. Well, at least I haven't had much issue compared with the ones I've had for my PCs.

I have everything stored in iTunes too and it would really be a pain to move it all over. I'd rather not have to remake my 200 playlists. I did that once when moving from Windows to OS X. I don't really plan to do that again.

I found syncmate useless unless I paid and I didn't want to and I am on a Mac. My contacts are all google contacts and all you have to do to get music on your phone is drag it from iTunes into your music folder. No program needed to do that.

Well I posted this thread for OS X users, winAMP isn't made for OS X. I haven't used a PC in a good 10 years now. When it comes to OS X, iTunes is all you need.

Lol.... Just upload them to photobucket/imageshack/yourserver...

post link...

thanks for the info,i did see this way for posting while searching around but i was hoping for some shortcut that mac might have.
