Google Finance is an ideal market information app (much preferred to the Sense-provided "Stocks" app). Google Finance is of course, integrated with your Google Account's Finance page allowing you to build a portfolio or watch list in your Google Account, and have data pushed to your phone -- updated in real time. Note that Google provides real-time quote information from most of the US Stock exchanges, including (NYSE and NASDAQ).
The sync occurs just like a Google Contacts or Gmail sync, so as you add/delete ticker symbols on your Google Finance page they are quickly synced to your phone.
You can tap a specific stock symbol on your phone for additional quote data, company news, as well as charts (you can even set a default chart time period -- 1 day 5 days YTD 6 months 1 year etc -- but can easily change to other chart time periods). You may also elect to continually update share price info (real-time) -- so the main app page with your watch list is receiving constant quote updates.
Finally there are additional tabs such as "Markets" with quotes for various major indices (Dow, S&P 500, NASDAQ) and "News" for business related news updates.
One of the best, most informative apps for sure !
