I just got a brand new LG Optimus V and the first thing I did was install GrooVe IP from the Android Market. It is listed as "Purchased" in my "My Apps" page, but I can't actually access the application anywhere on my phone. There's no logo for it on my home screen or other screens, and when I go to "Settings -> Manage Applications -> All" it isn't on the list.
I've gone to "Market -> My Apps -> GrooVe IP" and press "Purchased", then "OK" to download/reinstall, but it doesn't make any difference; it goes through the download process and the app is still nowhere to be found. I also tried "Market -> My Apps" then holding down the "GrooVe IP" button and going to "Install" but that also didn't work.
Any ideas? I'm really at a loss here.
EDIT: I didn't notice this before because it is only on the screen for a very short while (less than half a second) but it says "Download Unsuccessful" during the download part of the install process and then never says "Installing". I tried a bunch of different solutions from the internet but couldn't fix it. To further complicate issues, the Google Maps and YouTube apps downloaded and installed just fine, so the "Download Unsuccessful" issue only affects GrooVe IP.
EDIT 2: Android version is 2.2. I tried uninstalling updates to the Market Application (some websites suggested this) but now it just hangs on "Starting Download".
