Finding the source of a pop up ad

After a recent update, an ad pops up at times that covers the entire display that includes audio and video. How do I find the source so I can delete it? I've looked in my app list and don't see anything new that is unfamiliar.

Do you have any app that you selected to use the free version instead of paid version? Such apps usually have ads placed by Google ads.

All of my apps are free. But they all have kept their ads within their own app space.
