Finding User-Created Android Folders on PC via USB Connection

I have a few user created folders containing photos & videos on my One Plus 6. I want to transfer these to my PC and free up my phone memory.

When I connect my phone with my PC via USB cable, I am unable to locate the specific folders in which these media files are located.

How can I find these folders?

P.S.: USB file sharing is on, just in case anyone was wondering....

Can you see anything via your USB connection? If it's just these specific folders you can't see, can you remember the full file path to them? Because I don't use Windows often, but in my experience whatever computer OS you are on you just use a file browser (Windows Explorer for a PC) to browse the phone's filesystem.

If you started the folder names with a "." you will have to turn on the option to show hidden files & folders - if you are having trouble seeing things do that anyway, just in case it helps.

Which app did you use to create those folders?
A media player app might create a folder that pertains only to its own content, while a file manager app will have a lot more access to other directories (.... but restricted from any access to system-level folders). But the file system directory tree -- folders within other folders -- doesn't change depending on how you view them, it's a fixed entity. So depending on the app you used to create those folders, it may or may not reveal their location. Use a file manager app to be sure, that's a part of their functionality and why they exist to begin with. Determine the location of those folders you created and then just use that exact same directory path when using your computer's file manager.
