Finger print scanner

I can't get finger print scanner to work; it keeps saying sensor needs to be cleaned. Now I constantly have to draw pattern every time I pick up my phone. How do I go back to simple knock on

Hey Earl,
Firstly, all you need to do is turn off your lock screen security by going to Settings - Lock Screen - Screen Security.
Secondly, to reinstate the KnockON just go to Settings - Display - KnockON.

Thank you. I got the fingerprint scanner to accept my print but then ran into the same problem every time I tried to unlock the phone. I am currently using face recognition; it works fine if I look at the phone before knocking

This is something I also have a problem with. Keep getting the same message that the sensor needs to be cleaned. The sensor is clean from what I can tell but sensitivity seems to be an issue. Any ideas guys?
