Hi,
I just got my s5 today (was on a s4 before)... but I can't for the life of me get the fingerprint login to work! ~
I've gone in and added a fingerprint - then enabled it as a login method. Then I lock the screen, then unlock so it asks me to swipe my finger. I do it *exactly* the same as when I added the fingerprint... but it just keeps telling me:
"Swipe the whole pad"
..which I am! Its obviously not a faulty device, as it accepts the fingerprint just fine when setting it up - just doesn't seem to wanna let me use it when logging in :/
Has anyone else come across this problem? Its one of the biggies I liked about the phone
TIA
Andy

Its a little tempermental, but the issue seems to be with the angle of the finger. When taking the 10 "retries" of your given finger, be sure to try different angles. That was my issue - I was just doing a "straight down" motion , but in fact it wanted multiple angles (as you will very unlikely be doing a perfect straight line when unlocking!)
