Help Fingerprint Scanner

Hi. So I upgraded to Pie last night, and when trying to set up my security, I noticed there's no option for a fingerprint . Can anyone tell me where it is? Thanks
 
It should be under Settings > Security & location > Pixel Imprint. If that option isn't appearing then it indicates that the OS isn't able to communicate with the sensor for some reason. Sometimes a simple reboot clears it up. Sometime a factory reset is needed. And in extreme cases it may be a hardware fault, in which case you should reach out to Google Support for help.
 
I did look under Security and Location and the Pixel Imprint is not there. I tried a reboot and that didn't work . I guess I'll try a factory reset as well .

I successfully completed a full backup and factory reset, however when the Pixel Setup was completed the Pixel Imprint option was still not there. I guess I will have to contact google support
 
Maybe in your particular phone is somewhere else..you have to go through the entire settings..

That's what I would do if I were you!
