Have had phone for 3 weeks. Verdict is out. Worst. Fingerprint. Sensor. Ever.
I've deleted and rescanned 3 times to get a better "read" on my fingerprint. Still doesn't work any better. I have a ~50% hit rate, and even that has me doing 3-4 attempts. Most time I end up typing in PIN. Miss my LG phone for this function. Glad it works for some that I've seen posted... but no luck here. I'm still within my warranty period so considering taking phone back.
Really is a bad design, software, etc. Bad engineering design, Samsung.
