Firestick overheating

Hi,
I keep getting an onscreen message 'device overheating'.
But the firestick is cold to the touch, not lagging at all. It works fine, just annoying that the message keeps popping up. Any ideas how to get rid of it?

Go into the Firestick settings and clear cache. Reboot everything
