First Droid but not first time here.

I just got the white HTC Wildfire S for Virgin Mobile on black friday with 16GB card so I am very happy. I've looked around on this forum before as a guest and saw all the great comments and discussions. This is my first Droid phone and basically learning all this stuff like rooting and what are the best apps, like app2sd vs. link2sd and so on. I play with my girlfriends Iphone so not really into games, but more of a personal phone for notes (I write a lot of ideas that come to me), texting and the internets. Any suggestions on getting the most out of my VM Wildfire S would be greatly appreciated.
