first time android user.

Hi everyone. I'm theddy, an aspiring photographer and a first time android user, but quite a few months lurking.
Previously had a 3gs and since this is my first android so i got myself a cheap atrix 2. But i'm quite surprised how capable, snappy and i can do so much compared to the iphone. it really contradicts to what i thought and heard that the iphone was the best.
but i have a questions though.

You've obviously done the initial set up (activating your google account, and what not when you first boot the phone). The only other thing I would recommend is going into the account settings and making sure your contacts and whatever other accounts you have critical data for (docs, g+, picasa, etc) are synced. Other than that, each app you install will have it's own set up procedure.
