Apps First time making an app. Stuck, need help.

Okay, so I have this app I'm making for my fraternity in eclipse and have all the buttons layed out and design complete. It has a splash screen and all, which is about as far as I've coded. :/

I want the following features:

=A calendar of events
=A button that links to our Facebook page
=A button that links to the website
=A button that links our monthly newsletter (which is hosted on Issuu)
=A contact button for email
=A button that gives you gps enabled directions to the fraternity house (had this in another version that I made with a free online app maker)

I'm not new to programming languages, but I am new to XML. I catch on fairly quick, but XML has proven difficult.

These features seem fairly easy to add, except the GPS nav to the house.

I've watched tutorials, but none I have found tackle basics such as linking to websites, or adding calendars.
Any help would be amazing. Thanks guys!

Yeah, There will only be one main email address all "contact" mail from the app is sent to. Like you click the contact button on the home screen, then the phone takes over with the whole "choose default email app" dialog box. This may be a lot more basic then I think since the OS and email app is in charge from there. I can't think of any way to make the contact feature flashy, and since I'm low on time I'm not too concerned.

Thank you for the help! you have no idea how stress reliving it is to finally get some help. haha

I'm a lot better at photoshop by the way and if you need any logos, buttons, backgrounds, etc. done for apps I'd be glad to repay anyone's help with some free photoshop work. haha
