Help First time user of android - simple question

First time user of android. (true)

For now solve this plz.

Loaded a couple jpegs of book pages & an MP3.

I put the jpegs into My files > pictures
I put the MP3 into My files > music

Soon as i started the MP3 its all I can access when opening my files. how do I slide it away so I can get to the JPEG pictures?

Is there a better way of storing/ loading mp3s + jpegs for easy access?
