With Pebble now under Fitbit's umbrella, many have been wondering what would happen to Pebble services which are needed to keep the smartwatch running. The company has announced that it will keep all Pebble services operational through 2017, but they are also looking at ways to update the Pebble so that it isn't as dependent on Pebble's cloud services as it currently is.
