Fix it yourself vs corporate stance against it

This is great. I possess a Commercial Drivers License. Whenever I see a dump truck or similar with the banner "stay back 500'. Not responsible for windshield damage" I know that it is complete Balderdash. A driver is completely and totally responsible for the load they are hauling. This is nothing more than a deterrent to hopefully avoid litigation. Not sure how relevant that is, but this appears to be for similar reasons.
