I wrote it that way first, then went back and added the part about replacing the bulb. I figured, how else would you know if that's the problem? (Duh! You'd try it in a different lamp.)Technically, if it possibly has a short, I'd unplug it before even changing the bulb. If there is a short or loose wire and it's up in the socket, that could end up really kind of ruining your day. I mean you're supposed to get a charge out of life, but not like that.![]()
Always check the lowest cost replacement unit first.It was just a loose bulb. I unplugged it first anyway. At least it's fixed, and thanks for all the answers.
