Help Fixing 3g network

ok so i know have my HTC One V. Ive entered all the apn setting for Giffgaff but for some reason still keep getting a local wifi network for Hilltop School. I was there last week and used the guest settings but have since removed it from the phones memory but its that that still keeps showing up instead of 3g. Ive turned wifi off as well so am stumped, help please

DOH! The H symbol stands for High Signal and The G for GPRS not Hilltop and 3G network!!!

Yes, H stands for HSPA/HSPA+ (aka 3G), and G for GPRS (1'st gen cell network). If you were on wifi, it would display a wifi signal stack either next to or instead of your cell network designator.
