We get these around the clock, would you do us a solid and slide down your cell phone and you might see what icon is that?

At the risk of embarrassing myself and subjecting myself to ridicule… I’m not the owner of the Android phone. I’m wondering if anyone knows if that is a notification from some type of dating or chat app. Yes. I feel extremely pathetic.

On my p.c. looks like a ticket stub or some sort.
It doesn't look like any form of dating app. Nothing about it says chat either. I saw it as some sort of document, though whether it was supposed to be a ticket, a page from a planner, from a newpaper or magazine, or from a webpage or blog, it's impossible to say.
(Of course chat apps also have many uses other than dating - I have 2 that my wife doesn't have, which are used exclusively for work discussions).
The truth is that we get a number of these queries most days, and they are almost all "is this a dating app?", so you are far from alone. It seems to have been something that's developed over the last couple of years, before that we never got such queries - I suspect there's a thesis there if any sociologists are reading this
. But there are so many apps out there that in many cases nobody can identify the particular icon, so if you really care the simplest answer is to ask him or her.
