Flagging account for transferring phone on Verizon?

Just used the old upgrade another line, then transfer the phone back to my unlimited line trick to get a Note 2 on Verizon. The rep at the Verizon store said that if I transferred the Note back to my unlimited line that it might possibly be flagged, and that they would take the unlimited. She recommended that I wait a few days. I don't want to wait to activate my phone. Has anyone had this problem or been flagged? Thanks...

I havent done this personally....... but this is not the first time Ive heard they said that..... Ive heard stories of them saying a minimum of 24 hours and others say 72 hours.... etc

I do know that most people who play the 2nd line upgrade game usually do it all in the same day....... and Ive even heard stories of reps in stores making all the changes on the spot for you........

I havent heard of anyone who actually suffered negative consequences no matter what time period they used

That said, it's still probably safest to follow the rep's advice and wait a couple of days. Playing with a new toy the day you get it isn't worth the risk of losing unlimited data, even if the risk is fairly remote.

I just reactivated the other line, but will probably wait a day or two to activate the note on my line. It is just hard to wait after I've waited so long to get it!! Thank you for the replies and I look forward to joining your forum!

When I did mine I used a "dumb phone" line and when it came in the mail I went to Verizon to have them do it so I didn't screw anything up and the salesman said instead of all the activating and de-activating stuff all I had to do was put my existing 4G sim card in and that was it. I checked my bill and 2+ months later dumd phone still 9.99 and mine still unlimited.
